Clann Eireann
Clann Eireann (Irish Family) is a Nationalist Organization founded in 2024 by the Irish National Socialist politician Justin Barrett. The group has active chapters in Ireland North America. Barrett formed the group after a coup / leadership shakeup of his political party, The National Party that had turned it into "just another mouthpiece of controlled opposition". Clann Eireann is anti-abortion, asserts the sovereignty of Ireland over the entire island of Ireland, and calls for the reinstatement of the death penalty. The group self-describes as National Socialist and proclaims several National Socialist doctrines, such as the Leadership Principle(Führerprinzip), and the racial origin for the legitimacy of the state. Clann Eireann organizes street activism events for publicity and sells merchandise. [1][2]

Optics
Clann Eireann has been described as more openly fascist, openly militant, and using Nazi iconography than Barrett's previous group, the National Party. Though the group primarily brands itself in Irish and Gaelic iconography, Barrett is known to frequently use German National Socialist imagery on social media. Barrett has described Clann Eireann as the "authentic expression of the Gaelic spirit" within the framework of National Socialism. Separation from the National Party and freedom from electoral considerations has allowed Barrett and Clann Eireann to brand more openly as radicals. The group makes extensive use of the Irish Gaelic language. [3]

Territorial Integrity
Clann Éireann believes that the territory of Ireland consists of the whole island of Ireland, its islands and the territorial seas.
Ireland Belongs to the Irish
We believe that Ireland belongs to the Irish race alone and totally oppose unrestricted immigration.
Abortion Never
Clann Éireann insists no law should permit the provision of abortion in Ireland.
Rule of Law
Clann Éireann demands a reform of our criminal justice system, placing the protection of society from criminality as its imperative value, including the restoration of the death penalty for particularly heinous crimes.
Nation Over State
The State should act at all times and in every instance, in the interests of the Nation, embodied in one indivisible Irish people.
An Sciath Naisiúnta
An Sciath Naisiúnta (The National Shield) is the paramilitary wing of Clann Eireann. This group shows up to Clann Eireann events in black attire, masked, to perform crowd control and protect speakers from hostile mobs.
Activism
Béal na Bláth rally (August 2024)
In August 2024, videos circulated showing around a dozen masked men in black fatigues and balaclavas at Béal na Bláth, Co. Cork, where Michael Collins was killed. They stood under tricolours and banners bearing Clann Éireann insignia, with Barrett addressing them in quasi-military style.
Anti-immigration protests and riots (Belfast, August 2024)
Photojournalism and local coverage record far-right protests in Belfast city centre in August 2024, with Clann Éireann stickers and branding visible on Botanic Avenue and Dublin Road in south Belfast. Subsequent nights saw rioting in south and east Belfast following these anti-immigration protests.
Rally for Life, Dublin (5 July 2025)
On 5 July 2025, the annual anti-abortion Rally for Life in Dublin drew thousands.Clann Éireann and the National Party attended.
St Patrick’s Park, Dublin (13 September 2025)
On 13 September 2025, Justin Barrett gave a speech accompanied by An Sciath Naisiúnta. According to far-left reports, violence between Clann Eireann and Antifa occurred at this event.
